Black Lips – 200 Million Thousand

《200 Million Thousand》是Black Lips发行的第五张专辑。从表面上看，这张2009年的新专辑和他们以前的作品并没有太大的变化。也许这是因为他们组队的时间太长了，一直紧紧地团结在一起，慢慢形成了固定的思维。不过他们之间还是有一些各人的特色和不同的思维，这些特点也有足够的歌曲时间来表现。他们仍然能抓住garage rock的精髓，他们的声音也衍生出新的亮点。

J.J. Cale – Roll On

当歌曲作家J.J. Cale在过去的38年来仅仅零星地发行了几张专辑，所以他只能被勉强看作一位流行音乐的传奇。其实Cale拥有精湛的歌曲创作能力，他在Blues、Okie folk、Roots rock等音乐领域的的造诣，让他无时无刻不在表现着自己的天分。他曾经的作品《Travel Log》备受好评，不过也被看作他失去早期创作韵味的分水岭。09年的专辑《Roll On》，更加不可思议，曲调变得很轻松安详，不过资深音乐大师的音乐还是值得一听。

Chris Isaak – Mr. Lucky

《Mr. Lucky》是Chris Isaak七年以来发行的第一张专辑，但是它却很难被称为“回归”。七年的时间距离Chris Isaak上一次的风格变换太久了，而且他还是没有完成彻底的风格转变。不过有些东西Chris一直没变，比如每隔几年才会有的抛头露面。他最近一次露面是在08年3月，为了自己的新专辑，他参加了A&E的一档谈话节目。这次成功的演出让《Mr. Lucky》在公众心中有了一个很好的印象：从这张专辑的制作到发行，Isaak都在很努力地让新鲜的现代音乐手段融入到自己复古曲风里。
